Once the food arrives however, your attention is sure to be captured by the dishes themselves – like Almond Gazpacho with Foie Gras Powder, Argan Oil and Orange Essence and “Eggs, Bacon & Toast,” 12 Hour Suckling Pig with Tempura Duck Egg, Black Truffel Pomme Puree, Speck Emulsion and Red Wine Jus.
Azul features the cuisine of Star Chef Clay Conley. His diverse cuisine is a blend of Mediterranean flavors with Asian influences. The rising star chef honed his culinary reputation at Todd English’s acclaimed Olives restaurant, where he served as executive chef and culinary director.

Chef Huff brings a remarkable two decades of experience in all aspects of the restaurant industry to his role as chef at Azul. Huff passionately pursued his calling for the culinary arts, most recently working at the renowned Tydes Restaurant in Santa Barbara and at Saam at The Bazaar by Jose Andres in Beverly Hills.
In an ever more cross-cultural world, it may come as no surprise that the ideal chef for Azul restaurant is a California-raised surfer who cites culinary experience in Europe, the Pacific Rim and his years as a sushi chef among his influences.
