MIAMI ESCAPES | MIAMI BEACH |
Most consider Miami Beach to begin where South Beach ends which is around 25th and Collins just north of the Gansevoort Hotel. The mood of the area changes with smaller hotels, more residential areas, and neighborhood eateries. The beaches are phenomenal and less crowded. This holds true until just past 40th Street which is home of one of the biggest hotels in Florida, The Fontainebleau. Adjacent to it you'll find the fabled Eden Roc hotel and the new hot spot of the South, the Soho House. All of these properties create an high energy area with many clubs, restaurants, and events happening year round. The pattern repeats along Millionaire’s row where you'll find posh residences and skyscraping condos. That is until you reach Canyon Ranch which is haven of pampering and nurturing for weary bodies and spirits. Miami Beach has a number of great eateries and neighborhoods with a very local vibe. And needless to say, the beaches are spectacular. |
